Following the advice from Wollongong council, NSWRL and associated stakeholders, the Illawarra Rugby League has announced two of the four Mojo Homes Cup games will proceed this weekend as scheduled, while all other senior competitions have been postponed due to ground unavailability.
Mojo Homes Illawarra Cup
- Cronulla Caringbah v De La Salle – Cronulla High School, 2.40pm 14th May | Proceeding as scheduled.
- Collegians v Corrimal – Collegians Sports Complex, 3pm 14th May | Proceeding as scheduled.
- Thirroul v Western Suburbs – Postponed due to ground unavailability, future date of match TBC.
- Dapto v Helensburgh – Postponed due to ground unavailability, future date of match TBC.
IRL Senior Competitions
- All First Division matches scheduled for 14th May are cancelled/postponed. A decision on whether these matches can be replayed will be made at a later date.
- Under 18’s matches scheduled for 14th May are cancelled/postponed. A decision on whether these matches can be replayed will be made at a later date.
- Harrigan Shield matches scheduled for 14th May are cancelled/postponed. A decision on whether these matches can be replayed will be made at a later date.
South32 Illawarra Junior Rugby League
- All Junior, LeagueTag and Merged competitions scheduled for this weekend have been cancelled. This round will be considered a wash out round with no games replayed in any division. All competitions will now move to the next round in the draw – the weekend of 21/5/22.
- For those games impacted in Round 1 of the Merged Competition, we will have details of potential dates for these games in the near future.
