The Illawarra Steelers will face the South Sydney Rabbitohs in a sudden-death Harold Matthews Cup semi-final in Week 2 at Leichhardt Oval on Saturday.
Coach Jamie Szczerbanik has made one change to his starting lineup: Ashton Moore will replace Taj Barrett in the second row, and Callum Cooney is brought into the 17.
The Steelers, who finished the regular season as minor premiers, were defeated 28-10 by the Newcastle Knights last week and now find themselves fighting to keep their season alive.
Meanwhile, their opponents, the 7th-placed Rabbitohs, secured a victory over the Manly Sea Eagles (ranked 6th) with a score of 18-14 to move on to Week 2.
