Cancelled | Mojo Homes Illawarra Cup Round 9 | IRL Fixtures | 2-3 July

Important Update | 2 July

All Mojo Homes Illawarra Cup games and Senior competitions are cancelled.

Unfortunately with the overnight rain, ground closures and extreme weather forecasts, the difficult decision has been made to cancel all of this weekends Saturday 2nd July senior fixtures. This decision has been made in consultation with NSWRL and with the safety and well being of all concerned.

Fixtures for Round 9 of the 2022 Mojo Homes Illawarra Cup and Illawarra Rugby League on Saturday 22 and 3 July. The match of the round, available live and free on Bar TV is Collegians v De La Salle.

The Mojo Homes Illawarra Cup will play out its ninth round this weekend, with some evenly-matched fixtures across the competition.

Ladder leaders Collegians take on fourth-placed De La Salle at home, giving the Sydney-based outfit an opportunity to test themselves against the benchmark team in the competition on their home turf.

The same can be said for the match between Thirroul and Helensburgh, with the Butchers hosting the Tigers, who will be looking for an upset win to bridge the gap between themselves and the top four.

Cronulla-Caringbah will host Corrimal, with both teams looking to find winning form and improve their standing on the ladder.

Dapto have a tough assignment in their match against Western Suburbs, with a hard-fought and physical clash expected to be played out at Dapto Showground.

Before the main game, the Canaries will take on the Devils in the Under 18s competition, with the winner guaranteed to move to the top of the ladder. In the other Under 18s match, Thirroul will host Collies.

There will also be a full round of Harrigan Shield played out across Wollongong, with Berkeley, Northern Suburbs and Avondale having home games, while local teams Corrimal and Shellharbour travel to Picton and Mittagong for their matches in the Macarthur Women’s competition.
