Dynamoney Backs Steelers

Dynamoney has announced a new two-year partnership with the Illawarra District Rugby League (IDRL) as the official back-of-jersey (Lower Back) partner for six Illawarra Steelers junior representative teams.

As part of the agreement, Dynamoney has also secured naming rights for the Illawarra South Coast Group 7 U13–U16 merged competition, a key pathway for emerging rugby league players across the Illawarra and Group 7 regions.

These teams and competitions play a vital role in developing and nurturing the next generation of St George Illawarra Dragons talent, ensuring the region remains one of the strongest breeding grounds for rugby league in New South Wales.

It’s only a matter of time before many of these young players are making headlines, and we’re incredibly proud to support them on their journey. Backing these pathways means investing in local potential, whether that is young athletes or small businesses” said Brett Thomas, CEO of Dynamoney.

“At Dynamoney, we believe small businesses are the heart of local communities, helping bring people together and ensuring local areas thrive. That same community spirit is what makes junior rugby league in the Illawarra so special, and we are thrilled to play a role supporting the Steelers and play a small role in nurturing the next generation”.

Through the partnership, Dynamoney branding will feature across team apparel and competition assets, while a series of community and promotional initiatives will highlight the stories of local players and clubs throughout the season.

Illawarra District Rugby League Chair John Brannon said the partnership represents a major boost for the region’s representative and junior development programs.

“We’re thrilled to have Dynamoney join the Steelers family,” Brannon said. “Their support not only strengthens our representative pathways but also reinforces the importance of community investment in the future of the game.”

The partnership underscores Dynamoney’s ongoing commitment to supporting grassroots sport, small business owners, and local communities across regional NSW.
