After a break over the June Long Weekend, the Harrigan Cup returns this Saturday with three intriguing Round 6 clashes, with every side eager to make a statement coming out of the bye.
Defending premiers Wests Devils host Collegians in a blockbuster showdown at Sid Parrish Park, looking to avenge their opening-round defeat to the Collie Dogs and continue the momentum gained from their impressive victory over previously unbeaten Thirroul before the bye.
At Dapto Showground, the Canaries and Corrimal Cougars renew their rivalry after producing one of the closest contests of the season in Round 1.
Dapto edged out the Cougars by just two points on that occasion, but Corrimal enter the rematch full of confidence following back-to-back victories heading into the break. Meanwhile, the Canaries had their Round 5 match against Collegians postponed.
Elsewhere, competition leaders Thirroul return to Thomas Gibson Park to take on Sutherland Loftus Pirates. The Butchers will be aiming to bounce back from their first loss of the season and replicate their 14-point opening-round victory over the Pirates, while the visitors continue their search for a breakthrough win in their inaugural Harrigan Cup campaign.
