Thirroul centre Luke Maddaford and Dapto utility Troy Pieper emerged as the Harrigan Cup’s leading scorers following an entertaining 2026 regular season.
Maddaford claimed the competition’s try-scoring honours after crossing 14 times in 15 appearances for the Butchers. Collegians winger Cooper Barnes finished second with 12 tries, while Wests Devils centre George Jennings secured third place with 11.
Pieper topped the overall points-scoring standings with 128 points from 14 games, finishing ahead of Corrimal’s Saifiti Saifiti on 112 and Collegians playmaker Blair Grant on 87.

Collegians
Cooper Barnes led the way for Collegians with 12 tries from 15 games, highlighted by a first-half hat-trick against Sutherland-Loftus in Round 7.
Tex Anderson finished second with eight tries from just seven appearances, including a four-try haul against Dapto in Round 15. Nic Hall crossed seven times, while Dante Lusio, Charly Runciman and James Lee each scored four.
Grant was the Collies’ leading points scorer with 87, including 79 points from goals and field goals. Barnes finished second on 48, followed by Anderson on 32.
Corrimal Cougars
Hooker Declan Purcell topped Corrimal’s try-scoring list with eight tries from 12 appearances.
Saifiti Saifiti, Joe Duggan and Tom Carr were close behind with seven tries each, while Kye Wright, Brad Morkos, Ben Murdoch-Masila and Charlie Woolf each crossed four times.
Saifiti was the Cougars’ leading points scorer and finished second across the competition with 112 points, including 84 from the boot. Purcell was next on 32, followed by Duggan and Carr on 28 apiece.
Dapto Canaries
Braxton Wallace finished as Dapto’s leading try scorer with nine, ahead of Pieper and Jack Gibbons, who crossed seven times each. Centre Logen Dillon was next with six tries from 13 games.
Pieper enjoyed an outstanding season with the boot to finish as the competition’s leading points scorer on 128.
Wallace was Dapto’s next-best scorer with 36 points, while Gibbons finished third on 28.
Sutherland-Loftus Pirates
Winger Thomas Wiseman led the Pirates with six tries from 13 games, followed by Blake Wardrobe and Tyrell Lafituanai with five each.
Five-eighth Ollie Lester scored four tries from only five appearances during a season in which the Pirates were forced to manage frequent changes to their playing squad.
Wardrobe finished as Sutherland-Loftus’ leading points scorer with 44. Lafituanai was second on 26, followed by Wiseman on 24, Will Stewart on 20 and Lester on 16.
Thirroul Butchers
Maddaford’s competition-leading 14 tries made him one of the most consistent attacking threats of the regular season.
Former NRL player Brent Naden finished second for Thirroul with 10 tries from 14 games, while Harrison Hood scored seven and Dane Courtney crossed six times.
Five-eighth Logan Clinch led the Butchers’ points-scoring standings with 66, ahead of Maddaford on 56 and Naden on 44. Captain Tarje Whitford scored 30 points, with Hood rounding out the top five on 28.
Wests Devils
George Jennings topped the Devils’ try-scoring list with 11 tries from 14 appearances, earning him third place across the competition.
Lachlan Hurst crossed eight times, Colby Pellow scored seven, and Dylan Palmer-Quigg and Phoenix Vetenibua-Finnerty finished with five each. Braith Lawrence-Foye and Justin Rodrigues scored three tries apiece.
Rodrigues was Wests’ leading points scorer with 54, followed by Dane Chisholm on 47 and Jennings on 44. Hurst finished with 32 points, and Pellow added 28.
