Illawarra Rugby League Honours 2025 Award Winners

The Illawarra Rugby League community gathered at Steelers on Friday, 19 September 2025, for the Paul McGregor Medal Presentation Evening, celebrating another season of outstanding achievements across all levels of the game.

Outstanding players in all senior grades were acknowledged for their commitment, skill, and dedication to rugby league in our region.

The evening culminated in the presentation of the Paul McGregor Medal for Player of the Year, awarded to Josh Daley (main picture) from Dapto. Daley’s consistency, leadership, and influence throughout the season made him a standout performer. He also received the George Grofus Trophy for Best Forward.

The awards highlighted the depth and strength of rugby league in the Illawarra, showcasing emerging talents like Arlan Grose from Thirroul and Taylor Humphries from Corrimal. Additionally, it celebrated the achievements of leading women’s players Lily Riolo from Collegians and Jorja Bostock from Corrimal, as well as the overall success of Collegians and Western Suburbs.
