There’s movement at the top of the Harrigan Premiership table after Wests big win over De La Salle and Thirroul’s 32-point defeat of Collegians in Round 13, while Dapto kept their finals hopes alive with a convincing victory over Corrimal.
Despite their loss, De La Salle remains alone at the top of the table with 18 points, but Wests, Thirroul, and Collegians are breathing down its neck with 16 points. Dapto remains in the hunt with 13 points with three rounds remaining.

Wests put the rest of the competition on notice with a comprehensive 34-6 win over the ladder leaders on their home turf on Saturday. It was the Devils first win from three attempts over the Shire outfit this season.
The visitors scored seven tries to one, including a try from George Jennings in the first set from the kick-off and second rower Matthew Delbanco scoring a first-half double as the visitors took command early.

The Devils scored 24 unanswered points before the hosts scored their only try of the game through a barging run from centre Tre Fotu to trail 24-6 at the break.
Second half tries to wingers Jy Hitchcox and Colby Pellow sealed the win for Peter Mcleod’s men.
Butchers Carve Up Dogs, Dapto Tame Cougars
The Butchers defeated Collegians 36-4, scoring six tries to one as Jye Patterson grabbed a double, along with veteran Jarrod Boyle.
The defending premiers are hitting form at the right time of the season, having recorded two wins and a draw over their top four rivals in the last three games.
In a must-win game for Dapto, a Jack Piccirilli hat-trick propelled the Canaries to a 44-22 home win over the Cougars.
The Dapto flyer is now the competition’s leading try scorer with 10 tries, one ahead of Patterson with Fotu and Tautau Moga (Wests) with eight tries each.

The Lower Grades
Wests and Berkeley maintained their lead at the top of the Harrigan Plate table with wins over Corrimal and Avondale Wombats.
Helensburgh kept their finals hopes alive with a 26-24 win over Dapto. Thirroul and Collegians had byes.

Avondale Greyhounds remain undefeated in the Harrigan Shield but didn’t have it all their way in a hard-fought 16-6 win over the Bulldogs. The Wombats sit firmly in the top four after a 26-20 victory over Wests.
The Cougars dented Berkeley’s finals hopes with a 26-18 upset win. The Eagles are now clinging to equal fourth along with Windang after the Sharks forfeited to Figtree.
