The Steelers Tarsha Gale U19’s take on the Canterbury Bulldogs in their semi-final clash on Saturday at Leichhardt Oval. The two sides met earlier in the season with the Bulldogs recording a convincing 34-0 victory in Round 6. Illawarra coach Courtney Crawford has named the same team that lined up for last week’s quarter final win over the Eels.
Women’s Premiership
The Steelers finished the regular season in equal second with the Bulldogs, both recording seven wins and three losses apiece. Illawarra has a superior points differential but only seven points ahead of the Bulldogs.
The two sides met earlier in the season with the Steelers coming out on top scoring four tries to two on their way to a 22-10 victory over the Bulldogs in Round 6.
Coach Alicia-Kate Hawke has named the same line up as last week with Emma Tonegato retaining her position at lock after a late positional change with Teagan Berry switching from wing to fullback.
