Team List Tuesday | Round 7 | NSWRL Junior Reps

Team List Tuesday brought to you by South32 Illawarra Metallurgical Coal

The Illawarra Steelers take on the St George Dragons in all four grades on Saturday at Netstrata Jubilee Stadium at Kogarah.

Sitting third on the ladder, the SG Ball Steelers will head into the local derby against the fifth-placed Dragons with renewed confidence after last week’s come-from-behind road win over the Warriors. The Dragons suffered a loss last week at the hands of the Roosters.

If they can play their best footy, the luckless Harold Matthews Steelers (1-3) can be a thorn in the side of opposing teams over the final three rounds, starting with the Dragons (2-2) this weekend, who are still within reach of the top six.

The undefeated Steelers U19 girls, boasting 184 points for and 24 against, should prove too strong for the last-placed Dragons, who have scored just four points in their five games.

Similarly, the fourth-placed Lisa Fiaola Cup side can consolidate their place in the top four with a victory over the winless Dragons.

Team News

In team news, Harold Matthews Cup Coach Jamie Szczerbanik has brought Rhys O’Dea into the back row, replacing Likimani Richter.

SG Ball Coach Shaun Timmins has made one change to his line-up. Bailey Marks is back in the centres after being a late switch with concussion sub-Bohden Barrett for last week’s win over the Warriors.

In Tarsha Gale Cup selections, Kasey Reh, Mia-Rose Walsh, and Ella Koster are big outs from Courtney Crawford’s round-five line-up, replaced by Chelsea Saville, who moves from hooker to half; Rhian Yeo comes off the interchange bench to pack down in the front row. Bianca Jones is the new rake.

Meanwhile, Brad Reh has made several changes to his Lisa Fioala Cup side after the bye weekend. Centre Holly Czornobej has made way for Michala Hardy, who moves from lock. Jayda Lalic switches from the front row to the vacant lock spot, with Kayliah Alvey the new starting front rower. Halle Muik replaces Bella Lord out wide.
