The Illawarra Rugby League (IRL) is actively working with Wollongong City Council (WCC) in response to the forecasted rainfall expected to affect our region today, throughout the week, and into the weekend.
At this stage, while the grounds are currently closed, no final decisions have been made.
We will continue to closely monitor the weather and stay in regular contact with Council representatives regarding field conditions and availability.
For now, please continue preparations as though all scheduled games will proceed.
In accordance with our protocols, a formal decision about the weekend’s fixtures will be communicated on Thursday for Friday’s Tag games, and, if necessary, on Friday for the weekend’s matches.
