Illawarra Steelers Announce Exciting New Partnership with Remara

The Illawarra Steelers are thrilled to announce Remara as the club’s latest pathways partner, featuring prominently on the sternum of the playing jersey for the 2025 season.

This partnership represents a shared commitment to excellence and community development, enhancing the Steelers’ focus on nurturing future talent within the game.

“We are excited to welcome Remara as a key partner of the Illawarra Steelers,” Steelers Chairman Graeme Gulloch said.

“Remara’s investment in our pathways program demonstrates their commitment to the community and the development of young athletes.”

“A special thank you to Remara’s CEO, Andrew McVeigh, for his vision and support. Together, we look forward to continuing to build valuable opportunities for young players of league in our region.”

Remara’s involvement will increase the brand’s visibility in the region and significantly contribute to the support and resources necessary for developing promising talent.

“Remara as an Investment Firm understands that dedication fuels success, we are proud to support the Illawarra Steelers and their initiatives that inspire commitment and excellence in our community. As Sternum Partner of the St George Illawarra Dragons, it was important for us to support the whole pathways program.” McVeigh said.

“At Remara, we are Out To Perform in everything we do, offering investment products and service levels that outperform peers in the market, this aligns perfectly with what the Illawarra Steelers are seeking to achieve with their program across both the men’s and women’s teams,” McVeigh said.

The 2025 team captains Kade Reed (SG Ball), Trinity Tauaneai & Maria Paseka (Tarsha Gale), Cooper Morrison & Creighton Meafou (Harold Matthews), and Ella Churchill & Skye Spencer (Lisa Fiaola) were on hand to unveil the new playing strip, featuring the Remara logo.
